Finally the deal gets done. Now we can argue about whether or not hes worth it.
Look regardless of which side you are on when it comes to Wilson, love him or hate him, hard to argue what the team has done the last couple of years and Wilson has been a big part of that.
Is he the second best QB in the league, of course not, but the Seahawks couldnt let him walk away next year, and they know someone else would have gladly paid him at least that much or more on the open market.
And obviously now we will see just how good he is over the next couple of years since they will have less money for other key players, specifically on that defense, which has been the backbone of those back to back Super Bowl appearances. Have to imagine that at least a couple of guys on that D will be odd man out.
Can Russell Wilson carry a team if the defense is less than stellar? He is certainly being paid like it now.
