With the victory parade today the sun sets on another NBA season, and it was a hell of a ride.
We saw an amazing team beat the all time single season wins record. And just when we thought it was a foregone conclusion that they would win the title and repeat as champs in comes LeBron and the Cavs.
An odd series to say the least, all except for game 7 were decided by double digit points. When the Warriors went up 3-1, it was assumed they would win in 5. Then Draymond got suspended, no problem they win in 6 then. All of a sudden its game 7, and there is no way the Warriors would lose this game at home right? Wrong!
Props to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Props to the city of Cleveland for finally bringing home a championship after 52 years. And props to LeBron, dude played out of his mind in the finals. Down 3-1 and he puts up back to back 40+ games, followed by a triple double in game 7. On the road. To a team that lost 2 home games ALL YEAR in the regular season.
There is literally zero left to say for all the LeBron haters at this point.
And not that he probably had to anyway, but LeBron will never have to pay for another drink in Cleveland…ever.
